Frequently Asked Questions

-
I have OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 cards, how do I get my OSHA 40?

OSHA 40 is also known as 40 Hour SST. If you already have OSHA 30 and 10 cards you need to take 10 hours of Site Safety Training to get the 40 Hour SST card. The OSHA 10 is not the same as 10 hour SST.

+
-
I have my OSHA 30, do I just need the 10 hour SST to meet the 40 hour requirement?

Correct, if you have your OSHA 30 and your card is not older than 4 years, all you have to do is finish your 10 hour SST training to meet the 40 hour requirement.

+
-
I have never taken any training or worked at a construction site, can I still sign up for the training?

Correct, even if your background isn’t in construction and you haven’t taken any safety training, you can still sign up for the SST training.
